Book The Pub is now LIVE!
It feels surreal to be sitting here in our office in Lincolnshire writing our very first blog post. We have been waiting for this moment for a very long time, and we are super excited to finally reveal Book The Pub to you all. We have been working on this project for over a year now, which means 52 barrels of beer consumed and 4,576 pints pulled, (too firkin long!!!) and it’s now ready to go live.
Let’s give you the short story, the longer yarn is best told with a pint and a lit fire.
We’re more of a campaign than a company, and our mission is to empower the British pub. Book The Pub was born so that the bell for last orders never rings for the last time. Pubs and inns are an iconic part of our heritage in Britain – we don’t want them to disappear, we want them to be enjoyed fully by everyone, forever. We’re tantalising tourists to visit our country’s gorgeous pubs so that more folks can lap up the once-famous, now-forgotten hospitality of inns.
Being landlords ourselves, we got tired of seeing landlords being shafted by crazy commissions and hidden costs, so we decided to change that and build our own digital platform to empower the pubs of Britain. We want to build a brighter future for British pubs and secure their role as a place to stop by, socialise, and stay overnight.
